PRODUCT & editorial standards.
Dubel Team builds and operates live digital products. This page explains the standards behind what we publish, how products stay current, how corrections are handled, and how editorial decisions are kept separate from advertising or commercial relationships.
1. Original value first
Each product must do something useful on its own. We do not build pages whose primary purpose is to host advertising, repeat search results, copy another publisher, or create large volumes of near-identical text. A product should provide a real tool, game, archive, decision, route, research layer or interactive experience.
2. Ongoing maintenance is part of the product
Our products are not treated as publish-once pages. The type of maintenance differs by product, but the principle is the same: if the underlying world changes, the product should be reviewed and updated.
3. Research, sources and data
Where a product presents historical, factual or live data, the goal is accuracy rather than volume. We prefer leaving an item incomplete or marked as pending over publishing unsupported detail as fact. Historical and archive products distinguish sourced information from narrative or game presentation where relevant.
For live or seasonal products, data errors are treated as product defects to correct, not as permanent published content.
4. Corrections
Information can become outdated and research can be incomplete. When a material error is identified, we review the underlying source or data and correct the product where appropriate. Corrections can be reported through the contact page or by email at maordubel@gmail.com.
5. User-generated content and moderation
Products that accept public submissions are not an exception to our responsibility for what appears on them. We do not intend those products to be used for threats, targeted harassment, hateful attacks, doxxing, encouragement of real-world harm, or other abusive material. Moderation tools and removal workflows are part of those products.
Humour, opinion or anonymous participation does not remove the need for moderation.
6. Sensitive subjects
Some products may address crime, supporter history, conflict or other sensitive real-world subjects. The purpose is documentary, historical, research or game context — not shock for its own sake. Graphic or sensational material is not required to make those products useful.
7. Advertising does not decide the content
Advertising, affiliate services or other commercial relationships do not determine editorial recommendations, historical facts, game results, rankings or archive conclusions. Where a product uses commercial widgets or affiliate links, those are separate from the core editorial or product logic.
Google advertising is not loaded on utility pages such as error, thank-you and contact screens, or on this standards page.
8. Privacy and consent
Privacy, cookies and advertising disclosures are described in our Privacy & Cookies policy. Where required for advertising in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, consent-dependent advertising technologies must be governed through an appropriate consent mechanism.
9. Accountability
Dubel Team is founder-led and the products shown on this site are products we actually build or operate. The objective of publishing these standards is straightforward: users should be able to understand what is maintained, where responsibility sits, and how to report something that should be corrected or removed.
